Carol McSweeney Watercolor Artist

Original Watercolors & Portraits

About the Artist

Carol was born in Boston, Massachusetts, but moved to the West shortly after graduating from college. As a resident of Montana since the 1970s, she has been actively involved in her community as an educator, counselor and school psychologist, reflecting her endless fascination with and respect for the human spirit. Her passion for art was born through the use of art mediums with children in a therapeutic setting. Over time, Carol began to paint and to study art independently. She took a year’s sabbatical to study art and art therapy in Australia, and recently, has devoted herself to the full-time pursuit of painting. Her current work is rendered in watercolors and mixed media, and is held in collections from coast to coast, as well as in London. Carol is a Signature Member of both the Montana Watercolor Society and the Northwest Watercolor Society.
